A New Chapter (lasting 7 months)

Well, I am engaged. Finally. Here it is! The wedding is coming and I am more than ready for it. The only things I have left to plan are.....well......EVERYTHING. But I refuse to get overwhelmed. I'm sure I will at some point but I am insisting on enjoying the engagement for as long as possible while planning a little at a time.

I cannot announce a date yet for many reasons...the main one being we just can't settle on one.

But we are hoping for early next summer!! :) We are so excited and believe me, we understand the difficulties that will be coming...at least in theory! David and I have gone through a lot and I just KNOW we have a LOT left to go through in our lives together.

But that's just it...our lives TOGETHER. Maybe better said "our life." I am so thankful for this opportunity God has given us. To be bonded together in the image of Christ and the church. Granted, we are not perfect, nor will we ever be, but this is a chance to learn, grown, love, and show grace to one another daily. We will fail probably every day, we will struggle every day, but that's just it. God's grace is new every day when I fail. I struggle every day.

I was recently told Christianity is a fighting religion...and if no fighting is going on, what growth is there? What benefit?

Well, I may not be overwhelmed by planning, but I am overwhelmed by exhaustion. Good night, all.
